Lexington, Kentucky based Rob Dread and KMA have been a consistent presence at the DTWRF for many years.Originally from Columbus, Ohio lead vocalist  and bassist Rob Dread is a veteran of numerous regional reggae bands. His soulful vocals and bubblin' bass lines nice up the festival every time.

A proven favorite on the festival circuit, SEEFARI is one of reggae's most dynamic live reggae performers, with a show like no other artist. SEEFARI has toured extensively throughout the USA, including four years as a headlining performer on the Bob Marley Festival Tour. His world class reggae band features some of the best musicians on the US reggae scene.

 Formed in 1988, Groovemaster has been consistenly pleasing audiences all over Ohio with their brand of root style and dance-hall reggae. Groovemaster has appeared before standing room only crowds in clubs and colleges all over Ohio and have shared the stage with such Reggae greats as The Wailers, Ras Michael and the Sons of Negus, Mikey Dread and Ipso Facto. They performed as the headliner for a concert organized by Amnesty International, and opened Toledo's first reggae Rally By the River . The current line-up features founder and leader G.T. "Drummy" Richardson on drums and lead vocals, Joe - guitar, Louis - bass, Kirby - djembe (percussion), Alfred - percussion. There is something for everyone in the roots, dance-hall, and raggamuffin styles the members bring into their performances.

 

Jim “Rev Cool” Carter, host of the long-running Around the Fringe program on WYSO-FM (91.3), will reprise his role as host and emcee of the festival.

Carter, who has made reggae a regular part of his weekly Friday night radio program since it began in 1981, has hosted music stages at festivals like Sunfest in London, Ontario, Cityfolk in Dayton and The Concert of Colors in Detroit and recognizes the uniqueness of this homegrown fest.

Ska/reggae band Demolition Crew is led by  tromobonist Stan Middleton and  features some of the best musicians in the Dayton and Columbus areas.
